About
Dor Pazuelo (b.1986) is a photographer based in Tel Aviv. In 2019, at 32 years old after working in fundraising for NGO’s for several years, he made a career shift and became a professional photographer. He immersed himself in photography, participating in courses, workshops, and a mentoring program. He rapidly advanced himself in the field over the last four years.
Pazuelo's photography work is divided into two parts. The first is documentary photography, which involves exploring cultural and social stories focusing on human emotions, relations between people and their surroundings, gender, childhood, adolescence, and the connection of humans and animals. The second part involves working for NGOs and private clients, documenting cultural events, weddings, and promotional photography.
His work has been published in several magazines, including Haaretz, The Jerusalem Post, Portfolio Magazine, Ynet, Maariv and Makor Rishon, among others. He has earned recognition and awards, including first place in Urbanism and Culture, singles category in "Local Testimony 2022” competition. He has also exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions and has given lectures about self-expression in photography.
Pazuelo has shared his love for photography with others, serving as a photography teacher in The Hebrew University Youth Division and in the Friends For Youth And Society NGO in 2021-2022.
